Do they check for adenomyosis during a lap?

I had a lap 2 months ago where they excised mild endo but still in the same pain I had before (hip, thigh and lower back). I was told it could be IBS by the surgeon( because they are clearly IBS symptoms?!). Anyway someone mentioned adenomyosis so I emailed the surgeons secretary to ask if this had been looked for during the lap and I have just been ignored. Has anyone had any experience with being diagnosed this during a lap? Or is it a different process?

Thanks! x

Hi. I think they usually do a hysteroscopy at the same time (a camera into the womb). They did when I had my laparoscopy anyway. This would see whether you have adenomyosis. x
