Hi I'm new to the group but finding it very helpful reading about people who are in the same position as me. I've suffered with severe pain from around the age of 16 but has definately been worse within the last 2 years or so. Doctors have never been very helpful in diagnosing me although finally I have been put forward for a laparoscopy to confirm whether or not its endometriosis. Would like to finally know the answer after years of being in constant agony!

Finally, Endometriosis UK offer support options that may suit should a endometriosis diagnosis be confirmed. They are run by trained volunteers that have been touched by endometriosis themselves. They include face-to-face support groups usually run once a month and are countrywide:-

Online support groups are available for those people who are unable to find a support group in their area or who prefer not to attend a face-to-face meeting. They do not use webcams to maintain anonymity. Again, they are usually run monthly:-
