Have you had a diagnostic laparoscopy? It's the only way to diagnose Endo, scan unlikely to show very much, unless mri? Endo resolved is a great website with lots of information on Endo and treatments for the disease - both medical and holistic - very practical. Explained so much to me.
Completely understand . I think I am going mad with the pain! Just had a recent flare up & was in agony in middle through to early hours of morning!!!!! I had to go back to GP who finally gave me meds to help! I was only on a low dose of codeine & now I have other meds which if the pain is really bad I can take !
I also find I am soooo fatigued physically & mentally & emotionally a mess! So now i am going to have a lap & I am hoping for a good result & at least feel now I am a step closer to a pain free life! I have a few colleagues who have had good results which gives me hope x
Thankyou all, don't know anyone else with it and no one seems to understand. Hearing all your stories and your great feedback does help so much.
Need an ultrasound to rule out a few other things and xrays due to years of gastro trouble too then will be the Lap. My consultant is sure the Endo may be causing all my problems.
I am so very very blessed to have had two beautiful.children but feel I don't fully have the energy or patience for them as I'm so fatigued and cranky from the pain.
I am mulling over having Merina coil fitted as a first step to manage the pain but had one removed in utter agony in a&e a couple of years ago so it makes me anxious.
Such a draining journey for us all and so so unfair, I feel that way anyway
Thankyou for the words and support
I wish you all the very best and as minimal pain and upset as possible on your journeys
