Amitriptyline and taste disturbance

Hi,

I've been taking 10mg Amitriptyline/day for the past 10 days. This was prescribed by a pain consultant for nerve & bladder pain from stage IV endo. So far, it's helped with the pain, but I'm finding that most foods now taste very bitter. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I can't find much online about this possible side effect...

Any info would be hugely appreciated!
