Not everything he claims in 100% correct. I saved up money to go and see him to be told if I wanted his help I would need to fork out over £30k for an operation that may not actually work. He couldn't guatantee it.

Wow! That's worth knowing! Its so confusing when you are trying to pin down facts, I don't think there are any definitive answers (yet) and you have to gather all the info you can and through in a bit of instinct and luck!

Very interesting and thanks for sharing. Slightly worrying that a consultant would 'advertise' themselves on Facebook and have their own website. As someone who has experienced when surgery goes wrong, I would strongly urge everyone to fully consider all treatment options. Am not trying to put people off surgery but it is not a cure and has very real risks associated, no matter how good the surgeon. Bear in mind the complication rates reported on that website are based on 169 operations from 3 years ago, yet thousands of patients have received surgery.... Hmmm. Interpret with caution 😀
