Hello same here I have just joined this site. After battling with endo and cyst pain every single day for over 2 years has made me reach breaKing point find it very difficult to cope as partner and friends don't understand what I am going through. They are very supportive but not the same. I feel like I am living with an invisible illness and sick of being on codiene naproxen and then to tramadol no way to live life being drugged all the time.

had lap op last June didn't help as they couldn't find anything significant but removed some endo.

pain is constant and with heavy bleeds etc it's a strain on my relationship too.

Sorry for such a long essay!

X

Hi, glad u messaged. So have u had chronic pain all that time? 😳.. What's the next step? Know exactly what u mean friends/family supportive & my partner but people don't know how u feel in pain, physically, emotionally but also having to stay upbeat too to maintain your relationships.. Essay too 😄 xx

:). Yes it started off with pain being sharp and dragging then it became constant and then other symptoms started unexpected bleeds even though I am cerezette (the pill).

They initially said it's period pain take ibuprofen and rest etc etc. My advise is don't give up keep going back to your doctor. Since had scan after scan nothing showed apart from cyst which has now gone but pains are worse now.

I have just been to docs today and given me new medication to try help pain it's non sedative thank god as bring dosile at work ain't a good look!

Also trying to arrange ct scan and also waiting to see gyne specialist again.

Very lengthy process but I need answers.

how are your symptoms, similar to me?

Hope this helps

Oh no sounds so stressful. Yes just sharp pains, bowell problems, back ache, can't sleep just agony really. Awaiting my date for the op which I'm nervous about. Took me lots of docs appointments to get this far. Have you had these pains non stop for 2 years then? 😞. Hope the new pain relief is helping xx

I had pains for couple of years but I am feeling a lot better now on gabbapentin which is good pain relief and awaiting to see my specialist. Hope you get sorted soon and keep at it telling docs it's important not to give up. Hopefully after your op you should feel better fingers crossed for you. Don't be nervous op sounds scary but you will be fine just recovery side it's bit naff as you can't do much lol xx
