Yay a drug to stop the oestrogen production that isn't a GnRH.

It looks rather impressive so far. Finger's crossed it gets through the trials.

Really interesting Barbara. The thing that bothers me is that the drug has only been tested in 'healthy' women to see how it operates and to assess safety. At the moment they are using circumstantial evidence and hypotheses but we have to start somewhere.

The article touches on how difficult it can be to develop an idea into a usable drug. It makes me wonder what ideas have never been explored!

I wonder how long this will take to get on the market?! I could do do with some relief right now. I can't seem to find anything that will work. Here's hoping it works and it gets out fast. Thanks Barbara.

Hello Leya.

Bless you.... I think it will take quite a while as it seems expensive and the surgery is quite long.

In my opinion, you are the ideal person to have this type of surgery. You are young and really want to have a family. I'm the long term the surgery will save you endless treatments and the NHS money.

The lovely Brownlow had said to her knowledge there is only one surgeon who carries out this procedure on the NHS, and he's in Manchester!

How are you finding the GNRH ?

Sorry Leya....

I responded to you thinking you had posted about TPE surgery..... I've worked two nights this week and my little brain has turned into marshmallow! (I still think TPE surgery is ideal for you).

This drug does sound promising.... Fingers crossed,

I did wonder, haha. No worries, I don't know what that is but will check it out. The prostap isn't working still, I'm still having pains and also getting period cramping without any show so its not giving me any relief. I hope after my lap on July 21st I feel better and am in less pain. Thanks for the reply :) now go get some rest, you deserve it xx
