Hi there

Hope your all well

Haven't posted for a while but felt needed some advice. I had endo and adhesions that had stuck my bowel and falopian tubes to my abdominal wall back in 2011. Pain free after they unstuck and removed endo but slowly the pain has returned over last 18 months. I haven't been on any medication as taking the pill doesn't suit me and tried injections etc. I have been sterilised back in 2007. I am currently waiting for a date for my 2nd laparoscopy as the consultant wants to see if endo and /adhesions are back. My feeling is it's back but the thing I am worried about that's different from before is the excruciating pain I am getting when needed a wee. If I don't go for a wee straight away I get horrendous pain then when I do wee I am shouting out in pain when my bladder is emptying. It's not water infection as I've had that before and this is different. Has anyone else experienced this??

Also the consultant has said if my falopian tubes are stuck with adhesions again he may remove them. Has anyone had this happen to them. I am not bothered if they are removed, I've told him I wish he would take it all away but says I am too young as I'm 37 yrs old.

Would welcome and advice or personal experiences of similar or same.

Thanks

Zoe xx

Hi Zoe,

I had an op done last year November. My bowels were stuck to everything, I had a lot of adhesions and deep Endo sitting on top of my bladder causing me burning and stabbing pains when going for a wee.

I have been painfree for two months now, however I have noticed some mild pain and heavy feeling near my bladder, right overies and right side of my bowels, my lower back pains are coming back. I'm due to see my consultant this month to see why it's coming back so soon.

I was in so much pain everyday without any relief for 5 years, and after this op I was so happy to be painfree, but now I'm a little worried that it's coming back.

I'm on a gluten free, dairy free, soya free diet and is helping with my bloated feeling and some pains. Have you tried going gluten free? I was told that soya can make Endo come back, I don't know if that's true but my consultant told me to avoid soya. I've also noticed when I lift heavy things or do too much housework, bending down I can feel the pains coming on. So I just do light work around the house.

Sweety.

Hi Zoe, I had similar endo surgery to you and bladder symptoms. Have you researched interstital cystitis? It is commonly found with endo sufferers, I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago. Its worth a google as the pain you describe matches it. I believe its your right to have tubes removed, how dare anyone say your too young, he wouldnt say that if he were in your position. When I was 28 the doc said he was happy to do it as long as I put it in writing. Can you find a gp who is willing to help you get the doc to understand? Or find a different consultant? Good luck xx
