Hi ladies doctor called this morning to say I'm not ovulating after my endo stage 4 removed a year ago. Can anyone tell me what the next stage will be? Xx
Not ovulating: Hi ladies doctor called this... - Endometriosis UK
Not ovulating
I assume as you’ve had an ovulation test that you’re trying to conceive?
If you’re not ovulating you may need help conceiving from the fertility clinic. Ask your GP for a referral. There are rules about how long you have been trying before they will refer you (usually 18 months to two years). But if there are other contributing factors such as endo you can get referred sooner. You have to have a series of pre referral tests but if you’ve had the ovulation blood test then maybe you know that already.
I got a referral to the clinic due to my endo and my husband also has a low sperm morphology but I am ovulating. We have been having further tests for the last year. They weren’t sure if I was ovulating for a while but it was due to my tests not being done at the right time in my cycle. My cycle varies from 24 to 35 days so it’s hard to know when I’m ovulating. They did several scans to monitor my follicle development which gave a better idea of when it was going to happen.
It all takes a long time (via the NHS) waiting between appointments, waiting for results etc. But there are lots of options and ways they can help you. Don’t get too down.
I hope this is what you were asking, apologies if I’ve misinterpreted!
Hi Levi
Don't give up even though u have been told this. I say this after three of my friends who went for this test were told they were ovulating and all three have had babies. Once they fell pregnant doctors each said it might have just been that they ovulate later in their cycle. So seems like the isn't 100% accurate x x good luck x
