So I had my first lap yesterday and the confirmed and removed Endo on both ovaries, womb and pelvic wall....its nice to finally know I'm getting treatment its room me a year and a half to get here- although i know alot of you here have waited even longer for answers!
The consultant said that my ovaries were showing signs of ovulation and my womb looks ok so that's a huge relief..im 33and desperate for a family...maybe now I can have a pain free stint for long enough to get on with trying!
I'm super super sore after the lap though..can barely move! Anyway way just thought id send a little update seeing as I cant get out if bed. Sending my best to you all.

I'm brand new to this forum, but I had my first ever laparoscopy done 12 days ago after having months and months, in fact probably years of pain.
They found a whole curtain of adhesions across my lower abdomen and a boat load of Endo in me too. Lucky me!
My follow up consultation isn't until the beginning of January. I have no idea what to expect - this website has been useful but because of the very nature of endo being so variant it seems we all just have to work it thru ourselves and listen to our bodies. I can say that At day 12 im moving much easier, am less tired, the gas pain and upper abdo pain has subsided and has just left me feeling sore round the three incisions at the bottom of my tummy. Tho I have to say that I'll happily take the uncomfortableness of the operation over the pain I was in prior to the operation!!!! I frustrated that I'm not tip top and back on my feet already but I do feel like a new woman inside now - I just hope it lasts.
Keep yourself topped up on painkillers and have some peppermint tea for the gas pain, that should subside in a few days and is in my opinion the worst bit about this surgery.
