Month 1 of Zoladex

Hi, I had my first implant on the 3rd Nov. My period has started today and it's full and as bad as usual.

Is this normal for the first month?

Hi Lotsi. It can take a couple of months for your cycle to calm down. Hope it sorts itself out for you and you start to feel better. Nx

It's a lot heavier bleed than I usually get. I'm only on it for 3 months so I hope that I'm not like this for all.

It really gets me down (as I'm sure it does with you all) but I try so hard to drum up some humour to ease it all.

Today my husband is suffering with his back,our youngest is full of cold, dog decided to go for a run on his own(!),the car wouldn't start and I'm doubled up in pain....plus I needed to get our eldest two to school....and all before 9am.

You have to laugh though. Just typing this all and reading it back makes me feel like we're living an episode of some sitcom.

My hubs said this morning while we were both hobbling to catch the dog...'honey, we're not even 40!!'...
