Hi, I have a long history of severe endo. Previous surgery and excision of bowel endo, endometriomas on both ovaries, rectovaginal endometriosis, uterosacral ligaments. Had relief for around a year before starting ivf treatment which gave us out beautiful little miracle. Just had my 4th laparoscopy and had yet more excision of endometriosis on right pelvic side wall. I was also found to have it on my left pelvic side wall and a deep nodule immediately above my left ureter. For this reason surgeon felt it was unsafe to treat this. I have been put in zoladex for the next 3 months, referred to a urologist and told I will need further surgery after I finish the zoladex. Because it's complex it will be a joint operation between my Gynae consultant and a urologist. I am just wondering if anyone has experience of ureter endo/endo very close to it so I know what to expect. Operation type/ recovery time etc.
Thankyou

I am currently waiting for joint surgery between my Endo team and urologist as I have Endo my ureter tube that has penetrated through so i feel your pain! Urologist team have been monitoring me since October last year and it has finally been agreed I need more surgery just waiting for the funding to be agreed.
I have a rough plan of surgery that means then reimplanting my ureter into my bladder once they have taken out the duff section that has been effected by the Endo, surgery time is unknown, however recovery should be swift if it's done keyhole x
