Hi. I have been suffering with my stomach for over 6 years now and only this year been diagnosed with endo. Does anybody else feel that there is not a day that goes by were they are not in pain with their stomach? I feel that I go on to everyone everyday with how fed up I am with the whole situation and it really gets me down. My consultant also diagnosed me with IBS so I have to added pain from that aswell which isn't nice. Currently waiting for another op to remove the endo but it is such a waiting game. It is nice to have forums like these to speak to other endo sufferers as I do not know any myself.
Just a little moan! : Hi. I have been... - Endometriosis UK
Just a little moan!
I know how you feel! It's exhausting being I'll all the time. I haven't yet been diagnosed, but have my lap this month. 5 years I've been an 'ibs' write off, and even had my gallbladder removed. Keep fighting, you'll get there xxx
Hi Amy I feel exactly the same,I've been suffering with endo for around 5 years now, started going to docs because was in pain during y periods and they claimed it on 'hormone related IBS'! They only diagnosed it as endo once I had had a miscarriage 2 years ago! Since then I have gone on to have a beautiful little girl who has just turnt one, during pregnancy was heaven,I didn't have any pain or discomfort! As soon as I go my first period after the pain began again and it's back with avegence this time! Went to a&e 4 times and docs 4 times in One week and finally got a date for my operation. But I feel exactly the same I am in pain all day everyday,I am constantly taking pain killers and I am feeling really low! Just can't wait for my operation now x
I am with you, I am in pain every day. I have endo everywhere bowel bladder ovaries so depending what time of the month, depends on how bad the pain is. However I am actually in the middle of IVF injecting Burerslin so in the menopause at the moment and I've realised that I have had no stomach pain for 2 weeks yey its a magic drug apart from the headaches and tiredness.
I love this site makes me realise not alone in this, hope the op goes well xx
I haven't been diagnosed yet with endo. But am having surgery on Monday to take another look. I am in a group with people who all have endo with all stage and they have all mentioned about stomach pains, some people say stress makes tummy pains work, or certain foods. Even tho it always get mentioned that it's IBS they do believe with certain hormones at time of months they do get upset tummy tender sore bloated etc. and making sure they are relaxed or eating careful can help slightly..
For me I know when am having to take a lot of pain killers the pain gets worse, but I have had bad pains even when I haven't been on pain killers so it is slightly confusing advice I am giving you here...sorry.
Hot water bottles help a little... I even bough bio freeze but it only last a few min on the skin but it confuses thr pain receptors for a few min slightly. Xx
