Endometriosis and haemochromatosis

I was diagnosed with Endo roughly 4years ago. I have had pain ever since.

i managed to get bleeding etc under control until recently. I have been to the docs left right and centre. I have had patches removed previously.

however, my question is this

my biological grandad got in touch yesterday and he has been diagnosed with haemochromatosis and I need tests to see if I do. I was wondering...ate the two related? I have looked online but I don't necessarily believe everything that has been written. There are only a few articles on it.

does anyone know anything about this. I haven't had tests yet so I may not have it and I could be a carrier
