Decapeptyl injections. Advice please ladies.

Hi ladies, hope you're all doing okay.

I've had such a rough few months. I seem to have a week of very minimal and bearable pain, then three weeks of hell.

I've been diagnosed with severe endo and am waiting to see a specialist.

Ny consultant first tried me with the contraceptive pill cerazette, but i bled constantly. I was then put on norethisterone, which stopped the bleeding completely.

In the last two weeks i've been sent to hospital 5 times, two times to a&e by ambulance. The pains have just been unbearable. They have decided to give me decapeptyl injections for three months, and gave me my first one 5 days ago.

I've still not got my appointment to see the specialist, but i've been told a new clinic is opening in aug so i should be seen end of aug/beg of sept.

I was just wondering if any of you ladies have had or are having these injections and how you got on with them? I'm so fed up at the minute and have no optimism that these will help me at all. Also, if they did seem to work for you, how long do they take to kick in after the first jab? (I hope that made sense?!)

Thanks in advance. Xxx
