Does anyone else get restless legs at night?
Yes -but been helped by gabapentin.Try taking a glass of tonic water before bed-it has quinine in it and is known to help cramps and restless legs.It is such an annoying sensation isn't it!
Hi there, yes I get it a lot! Always worse when my lower back pain is worse too. I have taken Magnesium supplements in the past that helped as a lot of the drugs we take can deplete our magnesium and B12. It can also be worth getting your Feritin levels checked. When mine gets bad it is the first thing my doctor checks as they like it to be Over 150 if you are struggling with RLS. I have had a few IV Feritin treatments and it always helps. I have recently started making Golden Milk in the evening and I can honestly say I have never slept better. Try it. Good luck and I hope this helps! Xx. I agree with Autumnbreeze. Especially the magnesium. I also take baths with magnesium chloride flakes added and spray magnesium oil onto my legs etc. and massage in. I rarely get restless legs now. If you decide to take a supplement, magnesium citrate is one of the more absorbable forms.
Tonic water, that's interesting! Does gin help too I wonder!
Thanks for your replies I will try the magnesium supplements!
You might want to increase it through food intake too healthaliciousness.com/arti...
Not sure if the baths work. Maybe even an ordinary hot bath would help anyway.
