Need to talk...

I just want to talk to someone who is a bit more experienced than me.. At first I went to a&e a couple times but the last few months since I came off zolodex I have been in and out of hospital constantly.. I just want to know if this is normal? The doctors say I only have minor endo so I just don't understand it all :/ the only medication that can stop me from screaming while it is spasming is gas and air.. Morphine and pathadine... It makes me so sick the next day but I guess it's worth it :S is there any cure for this? I'm just waiting for my lap to remove the endo but I'm scared they are going to fob me off or something.. I don't know just so down at the moment and need some help? Xx

the symptoms you get with endo and the severity of it doesnt match up. you can have loads and have minor symptoms or mild and have lots of pain. i have superficial endo but have daily pain that varies in severity. im sorry things are so bad for you at the moment but hopefully the lap will go ahead and give you some relief xx

So it doesn't mean anything? Like how much pain I'm in.. Because some days I'm okay... There is always a dull ache but other days I can't take it anymore and have to rush to hospital because it just comes on like the flick of a switch.. Normally when I'm on my period but I have been on for over 20 days now because I'm on loadsa meds they don't know what to give me for the best and keep changing it isn't helping :S just want this over... Is there a cure? Xx

i'm similar but take Tramadol and not rushed to hospital. unfortunately there is no cure just various options to manage it. the lap should help if they remove all the endo and they will discuss ways to keep the pain at bay eg contraceptive pills, mirena coils, zoladex. find a support group in your area they are great help. changing your diet and gentle exercise can also help. xx

Pain has no relation to how much endometriosis you have.

You may be classed as minor... But if one these spots are on a nerve then you will be in a lot of pain !

I have a smallish cyst on my ovary.... But my goodness it's really painful ! I've also got it on my uteralsacral

ligaments and in my POD..... and that causes me a lot of back pain.

Best of luck to you.
