i finished my 6 month course of Zoladex 2 months ago, my pain has returned and i'm having daily pain, dizziness and nausea with this. i feel so low all the time and having bad mood swings, i'm finding it difficult to cope with the return of pain. i'm waiting to hear back from a counsellor i have seen before but has anyone got any tips/advice whilst i'm waiting?

have you got a surgery line up for the endo as yet?
if not get back to you GP and referred to the gynaecologist.
if the zoladex stopped your pains then they are likely to be caused by endo activity and that means there is existing endo there that needs to be removed.
Meantime you could try stopping your periods by some other means like BCpills, norethisterone etc.
And consider having mirena coil inserted during the next op to try and keep your periods to an absolute minimum once the existing endo is removed.
i had a second operation last year to see what was going on (i was diagnosed a few years ago) but they didnt remove it and wanted to try other options. I have been on various pills which made my pain worse, the coil didnt help either. my new consultant is reluctant to operate at the moment due to my age, repeated surgery etc. i will get a new appointment to discuss moving forward with treatment but its my mood thats making me struggle with it all even more. i would do exercise to help make me feel mentally better but its hurting just walking sometimes and so knackered all the time!
