44 hours and counting without any painkillers, say whaaaaaaat?!
I so know how this feels dear. After popping painkillers every few hours for over 20 years, I have finally been pain free for the past 9weeks and it feels soooooo good
Awe that's really good for you.
Was tempted to start this reply with what's you secret lol but glad things are looking up for you xxx
Unfortunately there is no secret otherwise i'd be sharing it with the world!
Im now on 71 hours without any, but i do feel some pain creeping in and i've got that aching/dead leg sensation hopefully only a minimal amount that i can ignore x
How is it going for you now?
im happy to report 5 DAYS NO PAINKILLERS STILL! i wont lie, its not been 100% pain free and im still finding work hard but just been fighting through it
Great news! Am sooooo pleased for you. I am also in alot less pain and after my diagnostic lap 2 weeks ago i decided to go cold turkey and turn back on my meds. I am awaiting bowel sugery and removal of the endo from my ovaries but in the meantime i have thought very differently about my pain. I meditate daily and actually 'feel' into the pain and engage with it which has worked. I have also gone gluten free and the difference is incredible. A different mindset has without a doubt helped me and am determined to stay off the meds until next operation
