I have been having problems for about five years. I have finally got to bottom of it and was diagnosed with endo and just had a hysteroscopy and womb ablation three weeks ago. I now have a womb infection and chest infection and bleeding constantly. Has anyone else experienced this? I am at my wits end.

Post op infections are to put it bluntly a bugger to get rid of. I had one lap hole get infected and it took 2 months of various antibiotics to nip it in the bud eventually. Recovery time varies depending on the bug, and your healing ability and the antibiotics and how your body copes with them. One thing for sure it may take some time to get clear of the infection meanwhile you will not be feeling at all great and some antibiotics make things worse (unwell feeling wise) before things improve.
Hang in there - it is bad luck - but you will get better. My prev op which was a biggy open surgery took 4 months to be op pain free, without any infection and 17 months for my bladder to start working for itself.
I have no idea how i got through it - but I did and there is light at the end of the tunnel. It is just a long drawn out rather horrid wait till things do improve.
Eat healthy, drink more water than you usually do and try and potter about the house as frequently as you can manage to. regular exercising to keep your systems working is going to speed up recovery without over doing things. get plenty of rest too.
