Hi, sounds familiar :/ Get any treatment you can. It is possible but keep it going and push the doctors to keep seeing you. Surgery can help clear adhesions, clear tubes etc. Get referred for IVF now as it takes ages then if you need it you'll be on the list already. Lots of positive stories on here too so don't lose hope. Some people are told never and then it still happens anyway! :) Good luck!

I'm 37 (and a half!). Always knew about my Endo, so always knew it would be difficult. Started trying at 35, with Endo you have to try for a year (tell them you have been for at least that!) I think to get referred and 36 is some kind of NHS trigger age where they take you more seriously even if you don't have it. So, you are just right! They've extended the age for IVF (don't quote me but I think 2 goes before 40 and 1 after - thats in Wales, 3 in England I think). So, get on with in now, but don't panic! :) Just make sure you chat up any medical secretaries and keep it all noted in a book, dates, what's said etc. I've been going between two health boards so have obtained all blood test print outs etc as they all get lost! Keep pushing politely and sweetly! Get everything in motion for tests etc, get referred as a back up (the waiting list here is 6+ months) and then have loads of fun trying for a natural conception. Good luck! :)

I thought it would never happen for me and yet here I am naturally pregnant! Ivf isn't always necessary, if you have a lap to remove active endo then you have a good chance. Id recommend that you get familiar with your cycles eg ovulation day and luteal phase length. Have some day 21 blood tests to check progesterone levels and AMH test to check the quality of your eggs. An ultrasound follicule count and uterine lining check also will help assess your reproductive health. When all this is done you should get an idea whether ivf is the best way forward or whether natural conception is likely.

Awesome, congrats! :) Still plenty of time at 36 to get there naturally too cmcfarlane!
