Pain in rectal area?

Recently I have been getting pain in what feels like my rectum when I sit down. I don't get it all the time, but fairly frequently. I don't know if I have endo in this area, could it be caused by this? Does anyone else have this symptom? I am a bit worried about it.

Hi I used to get this all the time and it got worse on my period. Sometimes I could'nt sit in the car properly to drive. Had to sit to one side. Also bowel movements were excruciating. I had a lap last year and the surgeon lasered it all and for a while It felt great. Unfortunately 1 year on and it is back so I make sure I eat plenty of fruit to keep that area healthy. It most definitely is a symptom of endo I'm afraid. Another one of these things us sufferers need to put up with x

Yeah that sounds like me. Bowel movements are so painful sometimes I just can't go! So it's quite likely that I have endo in that area as well :/ Sorry to hear that your pains are back x
