Hi everyone

Fibroids are common in women, more so as they age - I've seen numbers quoted that 50% of women over 50 have fibroids. The term posterial refers to its location in/on your uterus
Fibroids are usually benign, but cause issues with obstruction and blocking your bowl depending on how big they are and where they are internally.
I would get your doc to explain where your fibroid is and what the implications are; I just had a hysto for fibroids (three at 5cm diameter) and endo (stage 3). Time will tell if my symptoms will resolve
Keep asking your doc and good luck
Thanks a lot for the explanations. It made it more clearer for me. Why we women have to suffer from all these ?
