Total hysterectomy 14 weeks ago pelvic pain returned.

Had a total hysterectomy 14 weeks ago removed everything including appendix as was tied up in endo which was everywhere didn't know I had it until surgery . On combined HRT and naproxen After 4 weeks pelvic and abdominal pain started returning more intense than before surgery especially on right side in groin area, below public bone unbearable pain at front and vagina, to extent of making me sick, constantly on the loo. Find it extremely difficult to sit as discomfort ascross bikini line. Swelling to extent of fulling scars. Intermitent discharge. All gyne said was its your bladder, could it be he endo, or is it normal?

So sorry you are suffering so much.

I too had this a lot post op from day 1 (sneezing fit...ouch) up until 12 months, on and off.

There were a few reasons for my pain, I had several urine infections, also I did too much too soon and pulled all the ligaments in my lower abdomen and groins. The only way I could describe the pain was it felt like I had been kicked by a huge hoofed horse, and the swelling was unbelievable. Physiotherapy helped with this, I recommend you see your GP I/m sorry your gyny wasn't very forthcoming with an answer for you.

It could also just be your bodys way of settling back down, after all you have just had major surgery. it took me a good 12 months to recover properly. I really hope you get sorted soon x
