Hi guys, I am starting 5:2 in Jan, mainly to support the hubby but wondering if the health benefits are seen in Endo?

Heya,

I've been on 5:2, I saw improvements with my IBS, but didn't notice much as far as endo is concerned - I do have that more or less under control with the mirena coil, though. The only way to know is to try it, everyone is different.

Hi Siani, it is eating normal 5 days and fasting (500 or less) for 2, it is supposed to inhibit a growth hormone which maybe will help? I am a working mum and cannot stick to the endo diet no matter how hard I have tried, I'll give this ago and see how the months progress

I think the 5:2 diet is brilliant, I can't relate it to endo tho, but today I've just started the 8:16 diet, same principle as I struggle to fast for 2 days x
