How long is recovery time after removal of both ovaries

I had my ovaries removed during different operations. The left one was removed 2 years before my hysterectomy and the right one a few months afterwards.I personally found the recovery to be quite quick when compared to the recovery time for a hysterectomy. The op to remove your ovaries is similar to a laparoscopy so the incisions sizes aren't too large.

The lady in the bed opposite me had both ovaries out at once and practically bounced out of bed and went home the same day. So her ovary removal seemed far less painful than my excision lap where the surgoen does a lot of rummaging around in there.
