Hi Merlion,

I have never experienced the side effects you are having. What time of a day you are taking the pill. Apparently you should not take it in the evening or in the morning. Mirning take can give you headaches and evenings take can make your limbs numb or being sleepless. I take mine at 2 pm and have no side effects apart from lower libido and being more emotional about things.

I hope this will help. Where do you buy your Visanne? I have mine from Germany.

hi there sorry to bust in on the convo, but how long have you been on visanne and have you received any results about the size of your endo since you've been on? im on my second month...just wandering?

Hi Ladies - sorry its taken me so long to come back to you. I contacted my consultant after 3 days of taking it and he advised me to stop it. I saw him last week and he does not want me to restart it. Jkopec - I know its now available in the UK maybe you should contact your UK gp/consultant see if they can now issue it to you. Thanks for your help. Hope2heal - no worries - I'm Grade 3 endo but could only tolerate visanne for 3 days.

I think us three are the only people on this forum that are taking visanne.

I have the same problem,I get numb on my left foot and back pain..I am on the second month of taking it and the doc thinks that all symptoms will eventually go away.My back is killing me...

Hey there, i was recently put on visanne and four days in i have a painful swelling in my left leg as well as some chest constriction. Blood pressure and pulse are fine but the swollen leg is very uncomfortable i'm going for leg ultrasounds and bloodwork but i was wondering if anyone else felt these symptoms?
