Fistula

I am going for an Op on Thursday to have a Fistula made. Can anyone tell me the side effects or problems I will have, if any? I live on my own so I'm a bit scared how I'll cope.

I haven't had a fistula fitted but just wanted to wish you well for Thursday and I hope everything goes smoothly and you have no side effects. Will be thinking of you.

Other than appearance and a need for aftercare there are no 'side effects' of a fistula.
