You don't say what measurement is used in your country. For example if it was mg/dl or mcmol/l, etc. Anyway your father must have some medical problems that put him in the hospital, that has him on antibiotics at home, etc. So what do the doctors say about his Creatinine level. It is hard for us to give advice without knowing his medical condition, the measurement used, etc. But your questions are valid so ask the doctor. Regardless, there ARE many drugs which increase (temporarily) a persons Creatinine level. Such as certain antibiotics.
Remember that we cannot give advice on this site, but can only speak from our own experiences. I always tell CKD patients that need to have this discussion with their nephrologist.
