CKD and Vaccinations

Hello everyone

I am ckd stage 4 patient, age 31.

I already have successful Pneumonia and Hepatitis Vaccination.

Should I also request my nephrologist to prescribe me Flu Shot evey year because I regularly catch cold and cough and cold after few months gap.

And after catching the infection, there is always a slight drop in the kidney function.

I’m surprised they don’t already give you one! Yes I would ask!

Anyone with a chronic illness should be offered the Flu vaccine.
