Yoga improves outcomes for CKD

As a yoga teacher and naturopathic nutritionist, I know first hand how important both those tools are to wellness. Yoga transforms and releases us from chaotic thought patterns that can be very sabotaging and lead us to make choices that do not promote our own health. The breath is the pillar of the practise and correct and balanced breath directly impacts our psychological state. Having attended the Yoga in Healthcare conference earlier this year alongside teaching two community classes funded by the local GP practise (NHS), these are very positive steps towards a more integrated health system.

See article:

Conclusion: 'Six months yoga program is safe and effective as an adjuvant therapy in improving #renal functions and QOL of #CKD patients.'
