Hard to say. I was taking Omeprazole and taken off of it, but was also put on renal diet. My numbers have improved but hard to say was only due to not taking Omeprazole. Maybe combination of the 2 factors? I use Omeprazole only when needed infrequently.

My nephrologist took me off Omeprazole and put me on Ranitidine. I was diagnosed ckd3a 8 years ago with a egfr of 49. My latest reading is 59, it has been 62, but can’t be sure if it is due to the change from Omeprazole.
