Cld stage 4

Hi. I have for stage 4, fast approaching stage 5! I have several additional health conditions. Medication for one condition may be detrimental to my kidneys. Does anyone know if Lee Hull's book addresses Stage 4/5, and concommittent conditions?

Hi Ellen

I have read the book. It is very good and gives results of many clinical trials. It's mainly centred on CKD remission and eating a plant based diet. It also promotes Mr Hulls albumen supplement which costs 189$ a month.

As for other medications for other conditions affecting CKD, I did not read anything on this in the book.

I am stage 4 heading for stage 5 and my kidneys were destroyed by taking lithium years ago for depression. After reading the book I have stopped eating meat and am limiting protein. I have a blood test tomorrow, so will see if this approach has helped.

Best of luck. Let us know the results of your tests. If your practice of no meat, low protein, had any effect. I have taking the low protein, Limited meat (only chicken) approach, and for me I have had no improvement. But all of us are different and I pray your results are good. If so, I will cut out even the chicken.
