My creatine when from 1.4 to 1.36 I'm still worried

Hi everyone Im.still worried when last week to the emergency room a and they did blood work and my creatine is 1.36 which is better then last time when I when to see my kidney dr and it was 1.4 which unfortunately means that it wasnt the candersatan it's my kidneys I'm freaking out can some one give me advice and tell if is ok or not plzzz I would appriciated

hi, it will fluctuate like that due to hydration. Just be mindful of sodium particularly, as well potassium, magnesium.

The difference from 1.4 to 1.3x is quite normal. You could go to the doctor this very moment and get a reading of 1.45, or 1.2, etc. egfr is not a constant number. Just a very slight change in your fluid intake (up or down) will instantly change egfr by that small amount. One morning I went to my primary care doctors office for normal blood work results (he takes every 3 months). My egfr was 1.85. The day my blood was taken by this doctor was on a Tuesday. I happened that very day to have a normal appointment with my oncologist, who also took blood. The result there was 1.7. So two blood tests the same day. Blood taken within 2 hours of each other. Two results (1.7, 1.85).

Ok thankz for your advice that puts me at ease I get really worried because I dont want to get into dialysis anytime soon or never!!! I'm just very afraid but should I still be concern

Look it is totally normal to be concerned. And you sound a lot like me, thinking the worst (dialysis), which you are not even near needing. The normal range is up to 1.3. You are only .06 above normal. And remember, normal does not apply to everyone, it applies to the average person, not every person. You are seeing a doctor. In all likelihood they will just wait another 3 to 6 months and do another test. If it stays the same, then that is just you. If it goes above the 1.4 they could do some additional tests. But in the meantime, you should not worry. And even if you assume the absolute worse case, you are so many, many years from dialysis, you should erase that from your mind.

Thankz for ur advice I started drinking candersatan and I heard that it effects ur creatine so I believe that's the case I took it for 3 months and just recently stop taking and I hope and think that's the cause of creatine being 1.4 then 1.36
