Finally got to see my renal doctor today. Spent quite a lot of time with me, explaining everything I wanted to know. He said having hypertension for 30 yrs was the culprit ...but it's under control now, so he told me to keep doing what I'm doing. Will be having an ultrasound on kidneys soon to rule out anything else. I'm so pleased and he seemed impressed with all I've learned and applied in a short time. Thanks, friends Will share my important "numbers" soon.

PS My doctor is from Pakistan. Love him

Thanks, orangecity, that's important... He told me it's ok for me to have 1 cup of coffee daily so I have 1/2 cup mornings with a splash of flavored protein drink ( i use Atkins) and 1/2 c in the late afternoon. Then, I wash it down with lots of water. Lol
