New to Type 2 Diabetes

Hi I am Stef - 62 years. Diagnosed with type 2 in November 2018. Was doing well getting my Hba1c reading from 54 to 51 with no medication before lockdown. Unfortunately since then due to isolation, comfort eating, drinking and no GP support, it has increased to 56. Have just been put on medication. Looking for a small group of people around my age who I can look to for support and swapping of notes around Tooting or Streatham area of London.
