Ive been on metformin since November last year but the side affects was really affecting me but they was bringing my blood sugar down.

I’ve been on the modified metformin today and have only taken one and I tested my blood about 2 hours after taking it and my blood was 11.5 anyway I left it for another hour and tested again and it went to 12.3 I haven’t eaten anything since 2:30 this afternoon.only had water and I feel fine. What should I do?

If it were me, I would be as active as I could. Even a simple walk. Blood sugar is a wierd thing & varies with the wind at times. Good luck.
