Night worker Recently diagnosed with type 2

Hi all, I was recently diagnosed with type 2 with my levels not being high enough for medication, so it's diet control.  So far not been very successful and so have decided it's time to start again.  I was wondering if anyone has any tips, recipe ideas etc. Many thanks for reading

6.7 after fasting bloods and the horrible glucose drink.

Is there a history of diabetes in your family?

MODY diabetes is caused by a dominant gene - there are a number of different variants and affects 2% of diabetic population - it is closer to type 1 than type 2 and responds to different medications.  It can often be misdiagnosed as type 2
