I just received my first DWI. I was having a horrible day and I drank before I went to work. I then drank a little more at work and I drove home. I blew a .22 and I was arrested. I admitted to my parents that I was an alcoholic but now I’m filled with anxiety and guilt and I can’t sleep and I’m so anxious all the time.

I'm sorry because it sounds like you are worrying about things.

With alcohol you don't know how quick it is going down because then it changes the way you are thinking.

I have medication for anxiety and I know what I am doing but years ago when I drank I had mood swings and blackouts.

Keep in touch

Being a recovering alcoholic, I can identify with you. I did two things that saved my life. I got a therapist for my anxiety and depression and joined AA. Can’t do it by yourself. Good luck.❤️🏄‍♀️
