Hello, Does anyone know if stroke patients can take Cinnarizine (vertigo/sickness tablets) please?

My dad had a stroke over a year ago, is taking Atorvastatin and Clopidrogrel, he’s recently got a head cold and it’s made him a bit dizzy (he’s had Cinnarizine before but pre stroke.)

Thank you for reading 😊

Hi I had a stroke 3 years ago. I take clopidogrel and cyclizine for sickness/dizziness. Prior to that I have taken Cinnarizine and Prochlorperazine but the latter made me very drowsy and I was constantly sleepy. I would however speak to GP for the best one for your dad since some have side effects (Cyclizine can give you a fast heart rate,).

hi, I’m a stroke survivor also on Clopidogrel & Atorvastatin. I recently had vestibular neuritis which is very similar to vertigo & was prescribed Cyclizine.
