I was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy last February, after I came out of hospital I had a few days of bad migraines, one of which left me with no peripheral vision in my right eye and the corner of my left. Anyway, to cut a long story short after a recent mri on my brain I was told last week that I’d had ‘several small strokes’ they did an urgent referral to the TIA clinic which is tomorrow. The opthalmology consultant said that she couldn’t start me on aspirin straight away as she wasn’t sure if there was still a bleed and the clots that are still on my brain look old. I so overwhelmed.......
