Hi all, first I am sorry if I am in wrong place for this post, I was 38 healthy mum of 4, January I collapsed to the floor, with total paralysis in right legs, on right side unable to speak move, face drop, ambulance phoned- outcome obs were normal.. No hospital admittance, next day again same thing fell on stairs slid down got to sofa then again parylsis no speech no movement head to to right drooling, lasted 3/4 hour hubby came home put me to bed.. Still felt 'wrong' went to a&e dr walked in at 3 a.m well it's not a stroke .( no examination) .. This was Friday I had mri ct scan on Sunday apparently fine was sent home, since had right hand side weakness, tingling no use, no mobility, mouth is still down turned, eyelid reduced use of right arm... Dr said vitamin d had replacement still ill, dr said b12 had injections still ill, I'm also anaemic iron on replacement..... Does this sound like mini strokes, I had a massive one in 2007 hospitalised near death( hemiplegic migraine they said but never told me) today they say this is still the case but my right side is still affected 9 1/2 month later..... I'm sorry to go on and sorry if in wrong place but I feel 'wrong' no seems to listen

Hi Mandy. I had 3 similar attacks in 4 days. Each time called ambulance. They diagnosed Mini strokes TIA's you must get them treated as can result in a full blown stroke with terrible consequences.
They just keep saying its hemiplegic migraine, but surely after 9 months the effectives wouldn't still be around? Even the neuro I saw wasn't bothered and said it was vit d, when my husband questioned him he said " you asked us to find what's wrong and we found vit d deficiency" he had already written discharged on paperwork before speaking to us
