Hi, I've had 2 of these, I had one on December 26th 2010 and the second one on new years day 2011, I'm happy to say that I also gained back use of my body and just have mild problems with processing and expression, other than that I've been perfectly fine ever since. I didn't really live in fear of having another stroke as such but I did have terrible anxiety and depression for a few years following and I guess you've to expect some after effects and of course the concern about having another stroke xx

Hi thank you for your reply. Did doc know what caused it cos they've not got clue what caused mine. Am glad your ok . Am glad to hear from someone who had the same kind as me . I had never heard of them . The good thing is this kind of stroke is mild. Also Thot strokes were for old people God a got a fright when it happened to me at 48yrs old .

never found the cause either :( I was 39 when I had mine. i suspect stress may have been the cause, I have 7 children and my 4 boys all have ASD (autism) but the youngest son has a much more profound version of autism and his first 4 years was very stressful for me. I'm not scared as I've never feared my health, but it was a wake up call, I've had personality change too, have you noticed that too?
