Yes to Onion. You can also take raw garlic 1-2 pieces daily in the morning in empty stomach after brushing your teeth.
NO to Mango, orange, chickoo, as it will shoot up your sugar level. Be careful.Go for a brisk walk for 30-45 minutes preferably in the morning hours. Drink plenty of water ( 1 Patiala Glass per hour).
