1/2 tsp (approx 1g) of cinnamon powder in empty stomach in the morning can lower blood-sugar level within 40 days, in Type II diabetics. It worked for me it might work for you (diabetes.webmd.com/cinnamon.... But be sure you take cinnamon and not cassia, specially if you have liver problem.

seems to be a good suggestion. The blog helps to refine one's perception and knowledge. Anup suggest if can leave cinnamon stick seeped in water overnight and then take empty stomach early morning will it help??Thanks
I have also read an article in the Hindu. Sure it works in mild cases initially.Prolonged use is not documented. It may be used as supplement Please don't stop ur medications and exercises.
Cinnamon is a good sugesstion. Likewise Garlic, Ginger, Turmeric, guava leves, are also said to be good . of course I use them regularly and hope that they as well as so many other natural prodoucts we see daily might be of help to keep the sugar under control.
