It is not as simple as you have put it. It depends on very many factors. Age, severity, overall health and ever so many things. An young person, lucky to be detected at quite an early stage, without having any habits, able to control food and ready to walk briskly for say 45 minutes everyday, can expect to control diabetes. This is a lifestyle problem. We get into it because of unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore, correcting it on time can help to come out of it. It should be way of life and not a therapy for certain period.
