Asked me to apply after 6 months. What will be the possible reasons & precautions to be taken so that after 6 months there will not be any issues for application
Recently my insurance application rejected ... - Diabetes India
Recently my insurance application rejected stating reasons of elevated sugar levels & elevated lipids...this is been done after blood tests.
Pakya,
You will get better advice in the forum if you share the results.
I doubt if the insurance company has shared the medical results with you. It is better for you to consult a physician immediately. He will advise you to test for Fasting Sugar, Post-meal Sugar (PPBS), HbA1c and Lipid profile. You can then share the results to get some advice.
HTH, thanks...

Your variance in both Hb1AC and FBS is quite high. In the 2nd reading diff between FBS and PPBS is also quite significant. I assume you are taking doctor's advice. I think at the time of insurance medical check-up your fasting would have been around 200. Plus Lipid results (you haven't shared the results) would have made them to postpone.
I suggest the following :
- Consult an Allopathy physician, request him what all you can do to avoid medicines (he will suggest diet modifications, walking/cycling etc.)
- Consult a reputed Ayurvedic or Homeopathic physician(don't fall prey to quacks, there are too many of them, if you can let me know in which place you live, if I am familiar, I can suggest)
- In any case start with moderate Fat and low carb diet routine plus 30-40 mins. of walking (include cycling in your routine if feasible). Have something light more frequently.
- If you are leading a stressed life, destress yourself, btw whats your age.
