Your diabetes is ill managed. There are lots of posts on this forum but lchf keto range diet would not only control your bs and prevent diabetes related complications but also get you rid of drugs.

Gud luk.

Much less expensive if you could manage BSL with lifestyle and drug-free. I don't think it's difficult to deal with diabetes conditions but you're required good knowledge and understanding of this issue from consultation with your doctor as well as reading relavant information from available sources. Learning from other diabetics who have good control of their D-conditions is also useful. Good luck 😃

It is expensive because other diabetic related problems. Like neropathy eye problems neck and back pains plus heart liver kidney urinary etc. One has to see all doctors. These diseases follow with diabetics.

Thanks.. have been diagnosed recently as prediabetic. Is a health insurance necessary? Will it help managing this cost?

You can reverse your condition by making dietary changes. It will cost you some effort not money. Of course, you need to spend some money on self-monitoring and periodical lab tests for blood sugar. It is easy and help is available.

Health insurance is always a good idea because it covers not only diabetes but other health conditions also including emergency care if needed.

May I ask all of you reading this chat, how much does it cost you every month to manage your blood sugar levels, and what do you do or take to manage it? Thanks.

Just a bit extra on good healthy fats and protein but not difficult. One has to change dietary habits for ever.

It will depend on the individual's condition of the diabetes. I manage my by T2D by diet and exercise. I do spend some money on self-monitoring blood sugar and some supplements but they are not much compared to the cost of life-long medicine/insulin.

Recently I was affected by vasculitis and suffered multi organ failure and due to which I incurred 8.5 laks for hospitalisation. As I had taken insurance for 20 lakhs I did not pay any money. Amount fully paid by the company.I am aged 67 and retired from service. Hence better to take a cover for atleast 5 lakhs

Nowadays Insurance Companies do not settle on time + they also do not pay fully especially for individual customers. Which Insurance Company Policy you have and what is your experience!

Look forward to your reply and guidance.

Thanks.
