while checking the reading in glucometer(accucheck) do we have to reduce the reading by 11%. Kindly enlighten. Does every individual has different normal BS LEVEL DEPENDING ON HIS STATURE.

For breakfast you can have brown bread toast with green chutney and tomatoes and cucumber or Upma or oat porridge with fat free curds

Lunch one katori dal salad any veg. except potatoes one small bowl of low fat curds and chapaties made from multigrain atta Same for dinner with some variation. In between you can snack like khakras fruits like papaya, apple or orange in moderate quantity.You can also have 5 almonds or 3 walnuts.

Glucometers Manufacturers Specifications say its Readings may be + or - 20%.When I asked LifeScience to replace my Meter giving wrong readings,they did not Replace after checking it stating that the Variation is within stipulated 20%.Hence I took it to Lab when i went for FB test, i got blood sample on my Meter also simultaneously.Glucometer showed 10 or 11 % Lower.
