How can reduce it?

By changing your diet and life style. And,if it is not enough then take medicines as suggested by your doctor.

is it the above listed reading is so high?

Yes,these readings are high.Whenever our blood sugar crosses 140 then it start harming our body. And,if it remains high for a long period then symptoms of diabetes start to appear.

any thing to worry immediately?

Being worried is not solution. The correct course of action is to learn how to manage diabetes.

please suggest

Change diet and life style. These are keys of diabetes management.

Go through old posts and interact with knowledgeable and experienced people in this forum.

@stanlydevakumar,

FBS > 100 mg/dL it self is high, FBS > 140 -180 mg/dL is quite high. It's a worrisome aspect however as @alwaysoptimistic said, simply worrying won't work.

You would need to change your dietary pattern.

Few tips to bring your FBS <100 mg/dL

1. Cut down the carbs (might want to switch to LCHF diet)

2. Include ACV, Bitter Gourd in your diet routine

3. Dinner before 8 PM everyday

Does the endo recommend the ragi balls you are suggesting.. Sir roque?

Thank you, Hidden ! I know that sometimes, if I don't know what to do, I give my Endo. a call and see what he has to tell me about the issue.

Do an exercise routine each day for about 15-30 minutes. It can help get the numbers down and then you also won't need to take as much insulin for the day.

What is the difference between an Endocrinologist and a diabetologist?

in reply tobelprasadgurung

An Endocrinologist is a super specialist with a MBBS, MD medicine and a DM (endo) qualification in India

Diabetes is a part of endocrine disorders

So diabetes is a part of their subject,

They also are specialist in treating thyroid disorders, other endocrine disorders like for eg dwarfism, giganticism etc. Also qualified to treat osteoporosis etc

A diabetologist with an MD medicine is a diabetologist by special interest or expertise.

Prior to advent of DM endo course we had MD medicine Dr's with special interest in diabetes and became diabetologist

We also now have diploma in diabetes Dr's who after doing MBBS do a diploma
